Howard D. Poarch, CPA is the Managing Director of the firm. He has been in public accounting since 1963. His responsibilities are to manage audit, review and compilation engagements, stay up to date on accounting and auditing matters and supervise professional staff. He has also performed numerous peer reviews on certified public accounting firms throughout the US. Howard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Alabama and Georgia Societies of Certified Public Accountants and has been national coordinator for CPA-USA Network, a national accounting firm association. He served as the chairman of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants peer review committee in 1989 and has served as a member of the committee since that date. He also served on the American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants peer review committee from 1983 to 1986. He holds licenses to practice in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi. Andy Key, CPA is a director of the firm. He has been in public accounting since 1993. his responsibilities include managing audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as planning and preparation in tax and management advisory services. Andy has extensive experience in trucking, manufacturing and government. Andy had gained a broad knowledge of financial reporting requirements and is responsible for compliance with the applicable accounting principles. He has been involved in peer reviews of other certified public accounting firms.
G. Warren Morrison, CPA, CVA is a Director of the firm. He has been active in all areas of public accounting since 1961 and has extensive experience in a number of industries. For twenty-nine years Warren worked for a regional CPA firm serving as manager, partner and managing partner. In 1994 he began practicing as a proprietorship and joined the firm in 2006. Warren is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has served as a member of the Alabama Peer Review Committee since its inception in 1989. In addition to serving clients, Warren has been performing peer reviews and serving as a consultant to other CPA firms since that time. Warren holds licenses to practice in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. In 2003 he received from his alma mater, The University of Alabama, the Career Achievement Award for outstanding service to the accounting profession, the business community and society.
